No More Church As Usual!

Many have been sensing a shift coming in the Church over the previous two years. No doubt God has been shaking all that His people have rested in to bring them to Him IF THEY ARE HEARING WHAT THE SPIRIT IS SAYING TO THE CHURCH! I emphasize the hearing aspect of our relationship with Jesus Christ to be the most critical aspect of our walk with Him. Sermonettes to Christianettes on Sundays will never prepare you for what we have just entered into!

The plumbline has dropped (see Amos 7:7). I hear in the Spirit “Who is on the Lord’s side?” The astonishing fact is that a darkness or deceptive fog has been released by Satan himself called the antichrist spirit that has many deceived. Paul the apostle warned of this happening in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12.

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

God is saying wake up Church! Do not be deceived! The challenge of truly following Christ has just increased significantly. You can’t vote for unrighteousness and walk with a righteous Savior (see James 3:9-12). I also encourage you to read the book of Proverbs and record how many times God speaks of “righteousness” and notice the contrast with evil or unrighteousness.

This is why Paul wrote “Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame (1 Cor. 15:34).” There is no greater message than the love of God who sent His Son Jesus Christ to reconcile us to our Heavenly Father so that we could, if we so choose, be His ambassadors to represent the King of kings on earth and work toward the establishing of His kingdom. The purpose of the Church is not just about populating heaven! The Church is about a people crossing over into the promises of God, His righteousness here and now that enables you to fulfill your destiny by bringing heaven to earth!

 I encourage you to read Daniel chapter 7. Notice that the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever (vs. 18). Then Daniel watched (vs. 21) the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, “until the Ancient of Days came and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.”

There are two “possessings” of the Kingdom of God. The first is one of possession by faith, just as we possess His righteousness by faith. It is that righteousness that enables us to possess His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven! The second possessing will take place when Jesus, the Ancient of Days will come and make judgment in our favor.

If we don’t stand by faith, which is the position of Christ on the earth, we will never receive His judgment of favor when He returns. Until Jesus Christ returns we are Him (1 John 4:17) on the earth. THIS IS NOT CHURCH AS USUAL! I hear clearly “I am waiting on a people (you) who will speak My Words, work My works, love like I love and be Me on the earth!” This does not come without a cost! The plumbline has been dropped. Who is on the Lord’s side!
